What is Pediatric Physical Therapy?Pediatric physical therapists provide consultations, evaluations, and treatments for children who are suspected of having or have difficulties with their gross motor skills (i.e. rolling, crawling, sitting, walking, running, jumping), strength, balance, postural control, and/or coordination. Sessions will address skills identified as areas of concern, closely facilitate the child’s movement, and educate families with the information needed to best teach and guide their child when therapy is not in session.

What is Pediatric Occupational Therapy?Pediatric occupational therapists provide both consultations, evaluations, and treatments for children who are suspected of having or have difficulties with their fine motor skills, sensory processing, and/or visual motor skills. Sessions will address skills identified as areas of concern, closely facilitate the child’s movement, and educate families with the information needed to best teach and guide their child when therapy is not in session.
Speech Therapy
What is Pediatric Speech Therapy?Pediatric speech therapists provide consultations, evaluations, and treatments for children who are having difficulties with oral motor control, expressive and/or receptive language, processing both written and spoken language, social language (pragmatic), articulation, and feeding. Each session will address skills identified as areas of concern, facilitate the child’s use of the skills introduced and practiced, and educate families with the information needed to best teach and guide their child when therapy is no in session.
Additional Service
Free Developmental Screening: Screenings provided by our staff in a 15-minute time increment. Screenings include a questionnaire filled out by the parent, brief interview, and clinical observations. After that, we will make our recommendations on what to do next.
Off-Site School Observations/IEP attendance: We will provide in-school observations of your child at a mutually arranged time between your therapist, the school, and you so that we can collaborate with you and your child’s school. We also have a vast knowledge base on Parent Rights and how to navigate the school system to better tailor goals and the needs of your child while they are at school.
Motor/Feeding Clinic: Run by a speech and language pathologist and lactation consultant as well as a physical therapist to assess your movement and strength as it relates to
Movement Classes: Experience moving and controlling movement working to stabilize your core while at the same time having fun! Various ages from elementary to high school.
Playgroups: Age-specific and facilitated by one of our own therapists! Days and times COMING SOON!!
Family Learning: Learn about a variety of topics from nutrition, exercise, and what to expect about development to school law, pre and postnatal exercise, and pilates.
Parent Empowerment Sessions: We can all use a little support from one another. This is a PARENTS ONLY meeting so that the entire focus can be on you!
